The First Vizard Arc Chapter 36
World of the Living. A barren plain. 1,002 years prior to Aizen Incident.
Both Genryusai and the Quincy King glared at one another waiting for the slightest move from their opponent. The battlefield that was once littered with both Soul Reaper and Quincy alike was not a wasteland covered in soot and ash. The release of his Bankai ensured that both he and Juha Bach were alone without interruption. His spirit pressure gave off enough heat to dry the air of the surround area until it was comparable to that of a scorching desert.
Juha Bach seemed unimpressed with Genryusai’s sudden transition. The Quincy King knew full well that is was a

World of the Living. A barren plain. 1,002 years prior to Aizen Incident.
The darkness was lit by numerous fires keeping hundreds of Quincys warm in the cool morning air. Scouts had reported hours earlier that a mass of Soul Reapers were spotted five kilometers from their camp. Dawn had yet to break on the new day as the Quincys prepared for the battle that would soon take place. Unbeknownst to them were the five Soul Reapers watching them from a ridge to the south. This group consisted of a school instructor, his two pupils, his wife, and her bodyguard. These five individuals were sent behind enemy lines to aid in breaking the Quincy forces
El Dia. Somewhere in the jungle. 747 years after Aizen Incident.
It had been ten days since the Espada had arrived at El Dia. Three groups of two were sent into the jungle by the Vizard Ranma Kurogami in order to adapt to the spirit pressure given off by the land. Their movements and abilities had been slow due to it making them easy prey for the El Dian Hollow. They had no choice. It was adapt, or die.
Two Espada in particular were rather enjoying each other’s company regardless of the dangers that surrounded them. The Quinto Espada Michael J. Caboose and the Sexta Espada Schrodinger had been paired together by the Vizard to wander t

Muken Underground Prison. Five months after Aizen Incident.
The sole flame within the cell remained the only source of light that had not been extinguished by the Vizard’s arrival at the Muken. It flickered slightly as it burned it light upon the fallen Sosuke Aizen. Ranma Kurogami continued to sit cross legged in front of Aizen who lied against the wall with his full-body restraints wrapped around his body like bandages on a mummy. Ranma’s reishi-infused eyes shone red through his mask. The gaze was cold but relaxed.
“It wasn’t long after that night that Kosame and I were wed and the two of us have been together eve

Soul Academy. 1,027 years prior to Aizen Incident.
Ranma entered the garden connected to the Soul Academy. Several cherry blossom trees were present within along with a stream that ran throughout. Hours had passed since his meeting with the Head Instructor discussing the fate of Akio Tachibana. It had since become night. The stars lit the sky as the crescent moon illuminated the Soul Society. I guess tonight is gated to be, Ranma thought.
He stopped and waited on a small bridge that stood over the stream. He had once stood on this same bridge beside Ginrei Kuchiki over a hundred years before. Now, he waited the arrival of a certain someone
El Dia. Hueco Mundo. 747 years after Aizen Incident.
Xenethis stirred in his sleep on the marble floor he had awoken on several hours before. He unconsciously reached his hand out hoping to find a certain person by his side. He awoke when he realized he was grasping air. He looked to his side to find Harribel missing. He rose up quickly and looked around seeing that all of his Espada that were once lying around him in the room had vanished. The room itself was vast and empty. The moon outside shined though widow light the room. The only noticeable object was a stone throne sitting in the very center. It was very similar to the throne at Las

Soul Academy. 1,027 years prior to Aizen Incident.
Ranma Kurogami walked down the halls of the Soul Academy dragging the still bound Akio Tachibana with him. Akio’s fears were answered as he was being brought to the Head Instructor to be punished for the actions of his other side. The two of them continued to move further until they reached two large doors. Ranma knocked three times. “Enter,” a voice from inside said. Ranma pushed the doors open and lead Akio inside. The room was large and virtually empty save for a large desk at the other end of the room. At the desk sat a middle-aged man wearing a Soul Reaper uniform. He

Soul Academy. 1,027 years prior to Aizen Incident.
Akio Tachibana walked with a group of students making their way down the halls of the Soul Academy. He was currently wearing the uniform worn by all students of the Soul Academy. His appearance was that of a fourteen year old. Akio’s hair was short and black, and his eyes were dark blue. Like him, many of them were recruited the moment that they entered the Soul Academy. He was nervous. Not only was he worried what the instructor would be like he was also concerned that his other side would manifest itself. This other side, called Hakkyou, craved violence and enjoyed inflicting pain
El Dia. Hueco Mundo. 747 years after Aizen Incident.
Xenethis’ Log. Entry 1. Day 3
I’ve decided to keep a journal of my time spent in El Dia and with the Vizard Ranma Kurogami. I do this not just to understand this new land, but Ranma himself. He brought both the Espada and I to this place through a means in which we could not determine its exact location. He’s made it very apparent that he doesn’t want anyone knowing where in Hueco Mundo El Dia is. We followed him into the trees and the moment myself and the others entered we were brought to our knees by a great force. We strained to stand, but we fell again. At that
